It's written by a relatively new player for relatively new players, especially those who have difficulty winning against even just one "novice" AI. What I should've said is that i don't care about story or graphics, i only play for a good gameplay and a good interface. I think it's safe to say you do play games for more than gameplay, which is fine. The only question is whether it could serve that purpose in a less ugly way, which by your admission you shouldn't care about. If you really ONLY cared about the gameplay, why is the art style bothering you? And using the words practical and impractical doesn't really change the fact that the fog is entirely practical and serves its intended purpose. Yeah, the point Kronock is making is that you "only play games for the gameplay" and yet you're also saying the art style is causing you problems. If it was just ugly but practical, i wouldn't care the slightest Because it's not just visual, it's a big part of the game and the visibility, which makes the game a lot less enjoyable to play.
